The Songs of Joy singing at the Georgia Housing Authority

New Year's Eve 2006 - 07

The Songs of Joy Gospel Singers was organized in 2003.

We started out singing in our local area churches. A short time later began singing in nursing homes across Northeast Alabama. We began as a duet, but today we are quartet, composed of our god daughter, Penny Clark, Lynn Yates, my wife Cathy and myself, Russ Wiggins.

Today we still sing in nursing homes as well as churches, benefits, revivals, special events and church reunions. We are also members of The North Alabama Christian Music Association. Our Association does a great deal of volunteer community services for all sectors of North Alabama. NACMA is a chartered not-for-profit organization home address is : 9493 Rocky Ford Road, Hokes Bluff, Al. 35953.

God has blessed our lives and our endevers in so many ways that it's just hard to explain. Our goal in our lives is to put God first in every thing we try to do. If a question should arise that we can't comprehend, we ask ourselves, "what would Jesus do".
